O’Neill In Keeper Hunt

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill is reportedly chasing no fewer than three goalkeepers, according to theguardian.co.uk.

The website reports today that O’Neill is trying to lure Ben Foster, Paul Robinson and American Brad Guzman to the club.

O’Neill is believed to be looking for goalkeeper cover as Scott Carson’s loan deal from Liverpool expired at the end of last season.

Carson himself is amongst the transfer talk on the site, who say he will join either newly promoted Stoke City or Gareth Southgate’s Middlesborough.

In other news, Chelsea’s Carlo Cudinici is tipped to leave the club, as is Liverpool’s Charles Itandje, who is linked with a move to Turkish side Galatasaray.
