Ipswich to sign keeper Wright

West Ham number 2 goalkeeper Richard Wright could be on his way back to Ipswich Town.
The 30-year-old, capped twice by England, made his name with the Suffolk club before earning a £6million move to Arsenal back in 2001.
However, Wright has struggled in recent years and spent two months on loan at Championship side Southampton at the end of last season where he helped keep the south coast club in the Coca Cola Championship with some fine displays.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton is keen to resurrect his career.
He said: ‘Richard is a very good goalkeeper and I feel he would be at his best playing for Ipswich. An approach has been made, but we also have other irons in the fire.’
