Paul Lambert has heaped praise on his goalkeeper John Ruddy following his superb performance in Norwich City’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea, suggesting he could play for England. In this weeks Keeper discussion we want to know do you agree with Lambert ? England are short of keepers and Ruddy could be the answer for a backup for Joe Hart?
Joe Hart is firmly Fabio Capello’s first choice for the Euro 2012 championships this summer, there is yet to be a clear deputy for the City stopper.
Norwich’s Paul Lambert believes that the 25-year-old stopper has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
He told Sky Sports: “He [Ruddy] has been talked about for England and I think rightly so. I thought he was outstanding against Chelsea at the weekend.”
