Ex United Stopper Tim Howard believes his old club Manchester United will bounce back from their FA Cup exit by winning the Premier League and Champions League.

Howard returned to haunt his former club with two penalty saves at Wembley as Everton booked a final showdown with Chelsea at the weekend.

The American keeper is more than confident that Sir Alex Ferguson’s team remain on course to end the season on a real high.

He told the sunonline: “United will be fine.

“I think they’ll go on to win the league and the Champions League because they’re a great team and a great club.

“Everyone should be fearful of them.

“There’s a mystique about the club and an aura about the place. They’ll absolutely go on to do good things.”
