Stopper Simon Royce signs new contract at Gillingham

Gillingham Stopper Simon Royce has ended weeks of speculation over his future by signing a new one-year contract.

The Selsport endorsed goalkeeper who wears the Selsport Wrappa Classic Giga Grip has played a key roll at the since his move to the Gills.

The 37-year-old keeper has made 88 league and cup appearances for the Gills since arriving, initially on loan from QPR at the end of the 2006/07 season.
