Stopper Lehmann undecided on future

Ex Arsenal stopper Jens Lehmann admits he has not decided whether to prolong his career beyond this summer’s European Championship.
Having been told he has no future at Emirates Stadium, he is on the lookout for a new club.
At 38 the outspoken German stopper accepts there are no guarantees he will land terms at another side, although Stuttgart are believed to have registered an interest according to sky sports news.
Lehmann admits a return to Germany does sound tempting at this stage of his career but is loath to read too much into what is at the moment little more than speculation.
Jens told sky sports news.com “The situation is that I have no club from July 1,” “At the moment, that would mean I am retiring because I have no other club.
“VfB (Stuttgart) are led seriously, have a good team which plays attractive football and, thus, a good coach.
“I have known (Stuttgart director of sport) Horst Heldt for 20 years and these are all arguments which would speak for joining them.
“Either I find a new club before we play (against Serbia) in Gelsenkirchen on May 31, or I decide after the tournament.
“It could also be that a decision is taken after my holidays on July 25, but I am under no pressure.”
