A taste of Mexico

A new goalkeeping specialist is coming the UK packed full of heritage and experience Rinat (pronounced ree-not) is coming to great-save.com very soon. Rinat are Mexico’s and South-America’s biggest goalkeeping brand and seen as the (Sells) of latin America.

The brand was established in Mexico in 1986 by Hector Castro the same year of Diego Maradona’s ‘Hand of God’ at the 86 World Cup in Mexico. Rinat has taken some time to reach the international stage, launching in North America during the 2006-2007 season.

Rinat comes with a barrage of bright, stylish, and sometimes frankly ludicrous goalkeeping kit designs, particularly its goalkeeper shirts.

Rinat boasts a wide range of endorsees with current Mexico international goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez wearing the Rinat brand. Sanchez is known as “San Oswaldo” (Saint Oswaldo) in Mexico and is a hugely popular keeper, himself now on over 90 international caps and closing on Jorge Campos fast.

Rinat goalkeeper gloves are also worn by a number of the Mexican top flight’s leading goalkeepers, including Miguel Calero, who notched up almost 60 caps for Colombia before his retirement from international football in 2007, Luis Michel of the Chivas Guadalajara, one of Mexico’s biggest club sides, and Omar ‘El Gato’ Ortiz of Necaxa.

    hi there,

    We hope to have the brand here with us in the next month to 6 weeks.

    We will at 1st have a smallish colection but will stock all the key gloves from the brand.

    So at this time you will not be carrying any of the jersey line? Just some selected gloves?

    We will be bring over a line of Keeper Jerseys and Clothing as well as some of the great accressories and clothing they do.
