Given Going Nowhere - Keegan

Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan has rubbished reports claiming goalkeeper Shay Given is going to leave the club.
Given has established himself as one of the top flight’s finest keepers since his arrival on Tyneside in 1997, and has constantly being linked with a move away from St James.
Arsenal are believed to be the latest club wanting to secure the services of the Republic of Ireland international, but Keegan is adamant the keeper is staying.
He told the club’s official website: “All the talk of Shay leaving, you’re going to get that with players because we’re in that crazy summer, as I call it, when the press are after stories all the time,”
“But why get rid of a top class player? We’re looking to bring them in to play alongside the ones we’ve already got.”
