Tottenham goalkeeper Tommy Forecast has signed for Championship side Southampton.
The 21-year-old has penned a five-year deal at the South Coast club, and will now provide competition for Kelvin Davies and Bartosz Bialkowski.
Forecast was a product of Spurs’ youth academy, but was unable to break into the first team last season as Paul Robinson and Radek Cerny battled for the number one jersey.
He did make the bench six times though, and the youngster is tipped to have a successful career on the professional circuit.
“Spurs didn’t really want to let me go, but I’m pleased it’s all sorted now,” Forecast told Southampton’s official website.
“Once I found out that Southampton wanted me, my mind was made up. They are a huge club with a big fan base - a Premier League club really - and I can see myself developing here.”
